Over the past couple of weeks we have had the most beautiful sunsets. Radiant shades of oranges and reds, brillant purples, and ripples of blue can be seen covering the sky as the sun is going down on the city of La Mesa.
I took these photos from my home on Mt. Helix where some of the best views of La mesa can be seen. My street just so happens to be Sunset Ave. and I think I know why.
I spent many evenings admiring these amazing sunsets but, these really made me think. How is such a beautiful array possible? How can all theses shapes and colors just be thrown into the sky, creating these cloudy quilts called sunsets.
Sometimes we forget about all the wonderful things around us, the mountains, trees, rocks, plants, flowers,the sky, the stars, and the clouds. All these things are always there and they just are, never require anything from us. That is what is so amazing. So just take some time to look around and never forget to look forward to a peaceful sunset at the end of each day.
